Responsibilities:

Jewelry brings people confidence and adds details on them. Net not only focuses on visceral design but has its purpose; it functions as a guardian which updates your location to your family and triggers emergent measures if needed. While having it as accessory that makes you look better, pair it with your phone anytime you do not feel safe.

Function

With facial recognition technology operated by the camera, the distance sensor, locates in the middle of necklace, can detect any subject behind you in a certain distance. The detected distance could be set up in the app. When anything emergent happens, the emergency button could trigger your phone to call 911. Moreover, the LED buried in the same location with distance sensor seems to remind stalkers that this is more than a necklace!

Just pair it with your phone before you go out, select the settings based on your need, and it feels like someone accompanies you all the time.

Process

A working model has to be made to make sure Net is feasible!

Step 1 : Assemble the components on bread board

           Distance sensor | vibrating motor | buzzer

Step 2 : Work on schematics and place order from EasyEDA.

Step 3 : Assemble PCB with other components.

              Distance sensor | vibrating motor | buzzer

ASSESSMENT

To find out the most appropriate size of necklace, experiment on different sizes of necklace and find the best dimension that store the components at the same time.
